Photography for me is a journey into the details of the world around us. I strive to find the beautiful, the remarkable, and the extraordinary in situations and environments that, at first glance, could be considered anything but that. The trappings of our everyday lives—the objects, situations and people—become white noise as we move from point A to point B. But within that “noise” lie some of the most compelling moments of life—moments of beauty, vulnerability, loneliness and triumph. And when we stop and actually look upon those moments, acknowledge them and soak them in, they speak to us, because they speak to our collective experience as human beings. And in that, we realize we are all connected.
